About us
Nordic Fruit Advice
We are Joost and Fredrik, and fruit growing has been our passion for as long as we can remember. After taking over AWIKA, we expanded our focus beyond apples and pears to include strawberries, creating a consultancy built on practical guidance and hands-on support.
Over the years, we built a broad network of knowledge, resources, and contacts to ensure growers have all the information they need to plant, maintain and cultivate their orchards successfully. We love sharing insights and helping growers achieve healthy plants, abundant harvests, and a fruit-growing experience they can be proud of.
Fredrik
I have long experience from the fruit and berry industry, and I have been an apple grower since 2003. I started 2008 as an advisor for fruit-and berry growers and find advising growers very interesting. I like challenges and specially making progress in the production together with the growers.
Joep & Joost
We are brothers Joep and Joost Henselmans, owners of Henselmans Aardbeiplanten BV in the Netherlands. Our family business has specialised in the propagation of strawberry plants since 1956. For many years, we have worked closely with Fredrik. Thanks to our extensive network within the soft fruit sector and Fredrik’s expertise in cultivation, we are confident that through Nordic Fruit Advise we can support growers even better in making well‑informed decisions for their crops.
